Loved it!
I work with mentally ill people and it's sometimes frightening enough for them not to be able to communicate clearly due their illness without the frustration of being deaf too. I can now ease some of that frustration for any client in this position (and their relatives) to hopefully make their recovery easier. Wish I had done it much sooner. Loved it!

Introduction
Learning British Sign Language is now fun and easy with our unique interactive online course.
We have created this course so that anybody who is interested in learning BSL has got access to the resources that they need. Studying over the internet gives you the flexibility to study wherever and whenever you like.
Our Students
'Introducing British Sign Language' is an ideal course for anybody interested in learning British Sign Language as well as being an ideal revision resource for those studying BSL level 1.
Current students include people with Deaf family & friends, care & support workers, individuals with an interest in BSL, students studying for their BSL level 1, and organisations such as NHS departments, schools, shops, and police forces (to name a few), who use it as a key part of their staff development program.
The flexibility of this course means that you can study anywhere and anytime and you can go at your own pace. You are able to interact and discuss your learning with other students through class forums.
Assessments
This course usually takes between 5 - 10 weeks to complete. Your enrollment will give you access to the entire content for 1 year enabling you to use it for reference as often as you like.
Each of the 7 sessions ends with an interactive assessment which involves watching some video clips and answering some short questions.
Assessments can be taken as often as you like. Once you have scored 80% or more on each assessment you can download a certificate to show that you have successfully completed this course.
Pricing :: £15
Learning BSL can be an expensive task - many evening classes will cost you more than £120. We would like to give everyone the opportunity to learn BSL which is why our course costs just £15.
£15 - This gives 1 year of unlimited access to the entire course, assessments, and forums.

LOVED IT
I am a teaching assistant at a primary school and have a child who uses some sign language as his mother is deaf and this course is brilliant to get you started. I have learnt so many different signs and I love the fact that I can use the website for a year as a reference. It is so worth its money!
Great and easy to dip in and out. A great foundation to BSL
this is an excellent course. I cannot recommed it highly enough. Easy, practical with good clear signing and no faffing around. It has helped me hugely and i'm using many of the signs every day. I only wish they did more courses to follow on.

I really enjoyed this course it is a good start to sign language definitely value for money I hope they mke some more online courses. I'm glad I can revisit the site to refresh my memory when I need to. I would recommend it for anyone to do

I totally loved this course! I passed every assement within and 1hr - 2hrs of learning the signs! It is so easy and helpful. It is a fantastic way to learn the basics. I am now looking into further couses, and only wish that this site could offer them! I had so much fun and will recommend this course to all! xx
