This course contains 7 lessons and covers:
Fingerspelling, Numbers, Colours, Deaf Awareness, Introductions, Family, Descriptions, Hobbies & Leisure, Time, Money, Days, Months, & Seasons, Food & Drink, Conversation

Assessments
Each lesson ends with an assessment that involves watching short BSL videos and answering questions.
Using these interactive assessments you can keep track of your progress and look again at areas that you may need to do more work on.

Certificate
Once you have scored 80% on the assessments for each lesson, and a final assessment, you are awarded a certificate to show that you have completed the course.
Assessments can be retaken as often as you like at no extra cost.

I work in a nursery and I have a deaf step sister so I knew little sign language before signing up to this course. I now have the confidence and ability to have a conversation with my step sister as I now know the basics. Always wanted to learn sign language and this was a convenient way for me to start to learn on my own at my own pace. Found the structure good, on the final assessments could have done with a function to replay just a small section of the video rather than have to go back to the start each time. Absolutely loved this course. The introductions and explanations were kept simple and the course extremely enjoyable. I am also impressed that I got so much for such a low price. I highly recommend the CD ROM dictionary as well as the online elements.
