    I joined an online baby sing & sign group at the start of lockdown, because I did not have any opportunities for baby activities during my maternity leave. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to do this course, because I wanted to do something useful during my maternity leave that I can benefit from in the future. I really enjoyed this course. I particularly enjoyed the final assessment, because it showed me that I can understand whole sentences and not just a few random words. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get a flavour of what sign language is all about.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this course. it was very fun and informative and also affordable. It is great that you can learn at your own pace though. although, it was so interesting I was on the site 24/7 haha. highly recommend!

  • Always wanted to learn!

    I have really valued this course. I've always wanted to learn BSL. We use some makaton and couple of signs at home for my younger brother, but doing this course has given me more signs to teach him, and has really helped his vocabulary and speech come along. I have been learning during lockdown, weekly with friends over Skype, and we have loved being able to regularly meet and practice together. This has been a really invaluable kick-start for us to start learning, and we can't wait to learn more BSL! Thank you to all the team who have created this course.

  • BSL On-line course

    I decided to do this course as a challenge during the Covid-19 lockdown. I found it very well explained and easy to follow with assessments at the end of each section. These can be completed as many times as you wish with a target of 85% or more to be attained for the final certificate (I am competitive with myself and retried any for which I did not get 100%!!). Great course - everyone should have a go at it!
