  • I have really enjoyed doing this course and would advise anyone who is thinking about doing it to do it, I thought that it would be really hard to do and that i wouldnt be able to do it ,but surprised myself how i managed.I am really proud of myself for achieving this course and hope to go further, so do it and enjoy.

    I started this course because when I am older I want to be a teacher for deaf children. My parents thought it would be a really good thing to do and were they right!!! I have learnt so much and it is a skill that I will never forget!!

    This is one of the most fulfilling courses I have completed during furlough. I've always wanted to learn sign language, but never had the time. As a hearing person, I want to be able to communicate with Deaf people, and this has been the beginning of a great journey I now know I must follow. Thank you!

  • Superb introduction - more please!

    I have completed this course and have to say it is a fantastic introduction to British sign language and a very reasonable price. It was really easy to follow and pick up and has given me an appetite to learn more. I will re-visit the site many times to consolidate my knowledge and I keep hoping to see further online extension courses made available. At the moment, a course in BSL level 1 is available at my local college for £420 which I cannot afford. Please consider extension courses. This has been brilliant. The CD has lots of vocab too but more phrases would be useful.Thank you.
