Fingerspelling is a method of spelling words using hand movements. The fingerspelling alphabet is used in sign language to spell out names of people and places for which there is not a sign.

Superb signing!
Prior to enrolling on this course I had taught myself a little bit of sign language - enough to have a very basic conversation. Now, having take this course, I feel as if I could begin a good conversation with a sign language user and be able to maintain the conversation!
