I have been wanting to learn British Sign Language since Rose Ayling-Ellis’ appearance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, however I have never found a course happening near to me. After some online searching, I found this course, which I thought was so affordable for how much it teaches you, and for the certificate you achieve at the end. I have been learning this course while on summer break from uni, as I am planning on going into education after I graduate and believe having some knowledge of BSL could be invaluable for one-to-one work with primary age students. Thank you for making the course so welcoming and informative, I feel like I have learnt so much from it!

This course really helps me a lot and make me learn lots of useful and new vocabulary in BSL that’s great for my future career to communicate to different people

Having no knowledge of BSL I found this online course useful to learn some basic words and to use understand how it all works and to help communicate with hard of hearing people. I work on reception at an audiology department and will find it useful to communicate with patients with the basic sign language I have learnt.

I am now considering to try and expand my knowledge and enrol BSL Level 1.

This course is fantastic so worth it. It is informative, easy to follow and features like the mirror and even small details like the instructor wearing a wristband on the primary hand really helps you feel confident that you are really learning and understanding what they mean. I had been looking into learning BSL for a little while but once i found this course it was a no brainer with the donation option which means you pay what you can makes it so accessible. So if you see this and you are on the fence, DO IT, learn BSL you won’t regret it.

The course was extremely helpful and easy to use. I learnt lots and was able to use it for my D of E. Also, with the Pay What You Can, I wasn’t expensive, plus I have access to it for 2 years. Overall, great
